A Girl From Above

..He sat on a red cliff staring forward into space, endless wrinkled surface of the ocean stretching straight ahead. The Pacific Ocean... The huge water body which occupies almost half the planet, the biggest water body in the known part of the Universe... Thousands of kilometers of water separated him from the opposite coast! He seemed to himself a tiny insignificant crumb as compared with that huge amount of water... Enormous waves were splashing towards feet of the cliffs, making fountains of spray that caused constant mist below the cliffs... That was demonstration of the power of Nature... What is a human being without his machinery in front of the face of the Nature?  He is weak! He is a loser who wouldn't even get food for himself without a hundred technical appliances he has created for his needs... No matter who the king of the Nature is, but obviously not the human... If the Nature needed, it would take it just several hundred years to get rid of the mankind - and "the kings" would be over and done with! It was more likely that the whole mankind vanished from the Earth than that this ocean did! The ocean is an element, the second element of five - the element of Water... And it was splashing under his feet, sometimes peacefully and in a lulling manner, sometimes, otherwise, as if it had got out of control - it would fall on the cliffs with roar and break into billions of tiniest drops leaving streams of sea foam... A careless naughty wave had already overflown the cliff he was standing on and wetted his feet, and now his shoes and socks were soaking. But at that great moment it didn't matter at all. Who would stuff his mind with ideas concerning soaking wet feet when it's so beautiful around, when the view is so glorious that one is going to cry "Yeeppiee!" and one doesn't actually believe his eyes that the blue surface in front of him is an OCEAN, not a lake and not even a sea...

The dawn was going out. Helios had already crossed the border between the world of the living and Aid's gloomy kingdom. The fireball of sun had been visible for the last several minutes, and now only a wide crimson-orange stripe on the horizon reminded of the finishing day. Crimson-orange was mildly turning into a tender yellow tint on the edge, and then into pale blue - the color of the rest of the sky. Fifteen minutes later the whole sky was already dark blue, almost black, and the stripe became narrow, but, all the same, the view from the cliffs was gorgeous! The cliffs were situated in a quaint manner: high ones with precipices went in turn with low and sloping sandbars along the coastline. He sat on one of those low cliffs, brooding about philosophy, the sense of life, about the life's frailty and its simultaneous beauty... The atmosphere disposed to meditation...

On other cliffs above him sat several kissing couples, all head over ears in love... He caught a glimpse of them, and suddenly some heavy unknown melancholy filled his heart... He had no girlfriend. He sincerely wished he had one to be able to bring her to the highest cliff, to unite their lips in a long kiss and not to let each other go until night completely sets in... He had travelled thousands of miles to that god-blessed place, but he was absolutely alone here... He was alone not only here, but everywhere in general. He had no girl in this world he would have been head over ears in love with. Except one who seemed to be unachievable - sometimes even to be a creation of his own imagination...

He straightened up, raised both hands to the sky and appealed: "Oh, my heaven patroness!" The night had already set in, and over the mirror of the ocean there lit myriad stars and one brick-red star bigger than others.  He knew it was Mars. Some apparatus was approaching him in the sky. Three lights... Oh, it was just a plane... It was bitter disappointment that flashed in his eyes... Heaven Patroness... She was some strange creature whom he had known for already several years, but had never seen. Despite that, he really loved her. His feelings couldn't be simply explained by words because it's really very unusual to burn with love to a person you haven't even seen! He believed that she had helped him in all the troubles, from the entrance exams to the university and up to the trip itself... The trip which gave him the opportunity of sitting on the ocean shore enjoying that marvelous romantic view.

- I wish you were here with me, - he appealed to her. - I wish I touched your hand and I wish we enjoyed this romantic atmosphere together!

Suddenly he felt some melodic unearthly feminine voice whisper somewhere in the deep of his mind:

- Oh, dear... If you knew how I understand you... I hear the rustle of the surf through your ears and I see the crimson sunset, the palm trees and the mysterious lights of the faraway city through your eyes, but I can in no way touch you... I'm from another world.

- But can't you just come here in your spacecraft and ...

- Darling... In your notion I'm all-powerful. Maybe you're right. Our civilization really has much more opportunities of controlling this world than yours does. But... Absolute power is available only to God! I'm an alien in your world... But I've chosen YOU. You're mine. I can appear in every place of your beautiful world at any time, but not now! There are too much people around you, I don't want to have other witnesses of my appearance except you... Believe - there are a lot of planets in the Universe that are like paradise... They're much more gorgeous than this place... I appreciate your planet, it's cute. But you haven't seen other ones yet! Don't miss me! In my mind I'm always with you, but you can't touch me...

- Can we get there, to other worlds?

- Obviously! But... You're just too immature now for such heights. You should first fulfil your mission on the Earth, the one you were born for... You should develop your talents... Help people. And after you do everything you are to do, I'll take you up and we'll be together.

- When?

- In a couple tens of years. It'll be quite unexpected for you. Don't wait for it and don't prepare to it. It'll be just a completely new level in your life... It happened so that it was me who heard your pray to God about help at your entrance exams, so you learnt everything about your mission too early... I love you. You can talk to me. I'll always help you and support you... And... If you call it a date, say it's taking place right now, isn't it?

- But how? I don't even know, what you look like! My favourite...

A flow of warm heartily emotions went through him, a shudder running down his spine... She could send any feelings to any distances, He knew it.

- You'll see me in a night dream.

- You promised it nine times!

- But when you sleep you don't think of me! I can't transfer my image to your sensory screen... Throw all the earthly problems out of your mind and think only about me as you are getting to sleep!

- OK...And what if I happen to be taken by another woman, one of those inhabiting the Earth?.. I'll have to wait for so many years before I can meet you... Everything can happen!

- I don't know what jealousy is. - that mysterious voice said in his mind. - Obviously, you can... Homo es, et nihil homine a te alienum puto... - He didn't know Latin, but the sounds of that ancient language were very melodic and perfectly attractive in her speech, and He understood everything. That wasn't the first time she spoke some unfamiliar languages, but that was the only testimony that she wasn't just a fruit of his own imagination. - But I believe that I'm out of any contest... - she added. -  I knew it for sure when I was choosing to help you. I have always felt some strange attachment to you... You're not like other Earthmen. You're different...

The dawn has gone out, and the ocean has merged with the sky, and you could no more tell one from another - everywhere stretched just bluish black background and there were billions of stars scattered on it... He was staring at them thinking: "A girl from above... My heaven patroness... If only I could guess where you are from..." He knew that she was with him at the moment, and all the splendid scenery was becoming for him thousand times more splendid... And as for her appearance - it didn't matter at all. She simply couldn't have failed to be enchanting. So, He set off towards the glittering city thinking about his future in the far prospect after He successfully finished the current "level" in that big game called "Life". What would be then? Time would show. He was the Selected, and he realized that.

...Meanwhile the planet Nibiru was covering one parsec after another on its way to the Sun in the endless frozen vacuum of Space, and somewhere in its scaring deepness She was thinking of the eternity of Love, of a human's mission in this world we call Earth, She was enjoying the marvellous sight of the sunset on that alien for her planet, looking forward to that great moment when She would be able to open his eyes to other worlds and unite with him to one creative intellect shared by representatives of two different worlds...
